Next up in our Trailblazing Women of Crypto series, we celebrate our Chief People Officer, Maya Miller.
With two decades of HR experience across start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, Maya helped companies such as LendingClub (NYSE: LC), Ripple, The PlumpJack Group, Wells Fargo Asset Management (NYSE: WFC) and Financial Engines (NASDAQ: FNGN) maximize their People Operations. In crypto, Maya was the founding member of Ripple’s HR practice, where she built company values and people operations infrastructure from scratch. Her expertise in hiring top talent and enhancing employee benefits has taken our workplace culture to new heights.
Within the last year, Maya has led efforts to double our global headcount, implement new hire onboarding processes, enhance employee benefits, strengthen workplace culture, and integrate core business values across everything we do.
Maya’s colleagues describe her as an “inspirational leader” with a “yes, we can” attitude.
“Maya is an exceptional professional, manager, leader, and mentor who makes you feel inspired every day,” says Alejandro, a member of the People Ops team.
Under Maya’s leadership, our People function has scaled across six continents and established Blockchain.com as one of the world’s best places to work.
What Women’s History Month means to Maya
“Women’s History Month is an important reminder to express gratitude to the women who have impacted our lives personally and paved the way more broadly. Standing up for women is standing up for all of us. We are empowered for a better future, a better world. That future includes pioneering financial inclusion for everyone.”
Maya Miller, Chief People Officer
